The Bournemouth Caledonian Society was formed in 1907. Membership of
the society is open to those born in Scotland, of close Scottish descent or
married to either of the qualifiers!
The dancers, led by Lina Purves, perform numerous exhibitions during
the year. This peaks with their annual fund raising event at Highcliffe Castle
on August Bank Holiday Monday. The Millennium is extra special as they have
invited others, including Ringwood Pipe Band, to join them in their own mini
Tattoo.
