Mixture". The "Macauley Dancers" are the young dancers of the
Branch and have been displaying Scottish Dancing for 15 years and have won many
trophies. They have also danced on the continent. One of these dancers
represented Bournemouth Branch and danced for Her Majesty the Queen, in a
private audience given to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the
society in 1998. Classes for all ages and abilities are run each week.

Macauley Dancers
Aged from 5 to 22 years and in the past 12 years have won a
staggering 23 1st place trophies and 53 place trophies in
competition.

Cancer Trust each year.

Marilyn Watson
Marilyn is the leader of all the Country Dance teams appearing at
the RAH and I owe her a real debt of gratitude. She is a star and has helped me
enormously in the last year. Thank
you Marilyn.
Ian McLennan
Marilyn has taught at many day schools around England; has also
taught classes and a weekend school in Florida, USA and in Northern Ireland at a
day school for 120 people.
When the producers of BBC "Come Dancing" decided to
include traditional dancing for the formation section for Scotland and Ireland,
Marilyn was approached to produce a team and choreograph the dancing to
repredent Glasgow. She danced 3 times with her team on the programme.
