A professional opera trained mezzo soprano, who now concentrates more on Scottish traditional music. Her training enables Fiona to manipulate her voice to achieve a very distinctive and evocative sound. Fiona Darroch's family originate from Jura in the Inner Hebrides, where she first learnt her Gaelic repertoire.
She performs with Mike Cosgrave, James O'Grady and Taz who are part of "Sine".
