A Scot from Glasgow, John is normally to be found performing as lead singer/guitarist in "Capricorn" a well known, semi- professional four piece Country group in the south of England. John started his career singing Scottish folk songs. Irene, John's partner, is a piper in the Ringwood Pipe Band. John played King Robert the Bruce at The Royal Albert Hall in 1999 and as MacBeth throughout the "Maclennium" year. John also sang "The Ballad of Glencoe" and "Alba Gu Brath, Scotland Forever" and in his spare moments leads the singalong!
