Marica has ben involved in dancing all her life, being taught by her sister Margaret Lauder of Dunoon. Her own school was formed in Corby in 1985. The school has built up an excellent reputation and has wonmany championships, both Scottish and English, also taking gold, silver and bronze medals at the world championship in Dunoon, Scotland. Marica has also won many teachers trophies in England. In 1998 won the Aye Championship.
