Olivia loves music and performance and has already had experiences that others will envy
A
quality piper and leading member of England's champion pipe band Olivia has
performed several bagpipe solo's at the Royal Albert Hall and other major UK
venues. Olivia is adept at both the Great Highland Bagpipes and also Scottish
Smallpipes, which can be performed solo or as part of an ensemble.
Olivia
was the Senior Cellist in the UK Armed Forces.
She served in the Royal Artillery Band.
As well as playing at Royal events and prestigious military occasions for the RA Band, Olivia has also played in the Royal Albert Hall as a member of a Scottish Music Quartet and as a guest of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra.

After Army basic training, Olivia attended the Army School of Music at Kneller Hall, passing out in a record three months, having learnt the Alto-Sax to a level where she could perform in the RA Band. Why the rush? Her first engagements, on joining the band, was to take part in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and achieve a lifetime ambition. As the band only appear every several years, it was then or never!
